Rev. Henry Martin has been actively serving in ministry for 42 years. Henry and his wife, Claudia, have a passion and desire to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to disciple believers to grow in their faith.

Henry served as a foreign missionary to Honduras Central America from 1983-1987, working in evangelism and church planting. He then served as the Executive Director for the Shreveport Bossier Rescue Mission from 1988-2016 and served as the Mission Community Ambassador until he retired in June 2017.

Claudia has been a Registered Nurse since 1989 and has worked at several of Shreveport's health facilities, more recently in cardiac rehab. In 2009 Claudia joined Henry at the Rescue Mission as the Director of the Medical and Dental Clinics. She was later appointed as Director of Women and Children Services from 2010-2016.
